Science Olympiad 

Science Olympiad is a STEM competition where middle schoolers tackle 18 academic events—spanning life, physical, earth & space, engineering, technology, and inquiry—and five build events like towers, vehicles, or structural designs. This is BIS’s second year fielding a team, and last year we advanced past regionals, qualifying for the Northern California State competition! The regionals will be in March 2026 (exact date TBD), with the Northern California State competition in April (dates TBD).
