Some of you may be familiar with my name. I was a School Board Member for BSD from 2005 to 2015. As such, I spent years making sure that our district was the best that it could be for our students as a trustee. Now, I will be able to utilize my career talents in education to continue to help our district at BIS.
Jermaine Williams - Vice Principal (7th Grade) [email protected]
My family has been part of the Burlingame Community since 1999. Our daughter, Alex, was a Washington Wildcat, a BIS Trojan, a BHS Panther, and is now a UCLA Bruin like her mom and dad. The Burlingame Community has been such an important part of our family that I am excited to take on the position of Principal of BIS.

Over the summer Jermaine had the opportunity to reflect, recharge, and gain fresh perspectives that he is excited to bring back to our excellent BIS community. He is honored to continue serving as your Vice Principal and to be part of an environment dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering growth.
Jermaine is grateful for your continued trust and it is through our collective efforts we create continued successes. He is committed to working alongside you to ensure that ALL of our students receive the best education possible and that our school remains a hub of inspiration and learning.

Alyssa Jaramillo - Vice Principal (6th Grade)
My journey with the Burlingame School District began in 2011, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting our community as a student teacher, substitute, DLI teacher at McKinley, and principal at Washington Elementary. As both an employee and a parent to a student in the McKinley DLI program, I am deeply invested in our district's success and look forward to a vibrant, inspiring, and successful year ahead!
I am thrilled to welcome our new 6th graders to BIS and serve alongside such a fantastic administrative team!
