Burlingame Intermediate and Burlingame High School are in separate school districts.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE FOR 9TH GRADE:

November 3, 2022- Parents/Guardians start making enrollment appointments online or by phone

December 3, 2022, thru February 14, 2023-  Priority 1 enrollment begins

February 21, 2023 Lottery for intra-district transfers *Intra-district transfers required for every student living outside of SMHUSD

Universal Screeners regarding mental health and SEL supports completed for all students by families. Data are available at the 9th-grade transition meeting.

PANTHER PREVIEW DAY

Registration for Panther Preview Day on the BHS Website 8th Grade Family Night Website.

BHS provides Panther Preview Day for students trying to decide between multiple high school options for their freshman year.

 Students do NOT need to attend Panther Preview Day if they know they will attend BHS (BHS provides much of the same information on Parent/Student Info Night). Students do NOT need to attend if they know they will attend a different SMUHSD school.

The move from middle school to high school is a big transition for 8th graders and their families. We understand this and hope to make the transition as easy and stress-free as possible.  Take this opportunity to visit Burlingame High School, speak to other Panther parents, and learn first hand about the incredible academic, fine arts and athletic programs offered by the school.  Please see our School Profile.

Spring Student Orientation 2022

The Burlingame High School Counselors and Leadership will provide information about BHS' orientation and class selection process in the Spring of 2022.

Incoming 9th Grade Class Programming 2022

Families will need to finish the enrollment process through the Office of Student Services of the San Mateo Union High School District prior to selecting classes. 

Class programming information will be announced in Spring 2022 in February and will begin in March at local middle schools and private schools.
