POWERSCHOOL PORTAL SETUP

UPDATE: PowerSchool Website for Parents is currently not operating properly. Our BSD Tech Team is currently working on the issue. Please use the Mobile App to access your student's information. 

Parents are encouraged to access PowerSchool to view their student's attendance, assignments, state
testing scores, and more.

Step 1: Navigate to https://bsd.powerschool.com/public

Step 2: Either log in using your username and password, or create a new account.

If you do not have an account, click the Create Account tab. Enter your personal information and create a password. Add your student’s name, as well as the Access ID and Password provided in the letter. Choose your
relationship from the drop down. You may add 1-7 students at a time. You can always add another
student after your account has been created.

Step 3: Access your student’s pages:

  1. Grades and Attendance: to check current grades and attendance records
  2. Missing Assignments: to view missing assignments
  3. Grade History: for viewing grades from previous trimesters
  4. Attendance History: for viewing attendance from previous days
  5. Email Notification: allows parents to customize the content and frequency of emails.
  6. Teacher Comments:
  7. Forms: Not used.
  8. Student Reports: report cards.
  9. School Bulletin: updates from school administration.
  10. Class Registration: Not used.
  11. My Schedule: shows student course schedule.
  12. School Information: view information about the school.
  13. Score Reports: view official previous test scores for your student (e.g. CAASPP, ELPAC, etc.)
  14. Account Preferences: Register your student here under “Student Tab”
  15. Adaptive Scheduler: Not used.

To Add your student, 

Step 1: Click on the Students tab, then enter your student’s name, Access ID, and Access Password.
